BNN Top 100 Prospects List Updated
With the mid-season mark upon us, now is a great time to update the pre-season BNN Top 100 Prospect list with what we have learned to this point. This year, 22 year-old C Carlton Fisk of the Boston Red Sox is the #1 prospect overall.

In a very sharp performance at Fairgrounds Stadium, Jon Matlack of the Tidewater Tides blanked the Louisville Colonels, 8-0. He permitted 4 hits and finished with 6 strikeouts and 3 walks in the Tides victory.
"Jon goes out there and just goes about his business," Tides manager Chris Seibert said in his postgame press conference. "I don't think he gets too concerned about what's going on. No matter the pitch, you know he's going to be where he needs to be."
