Western Carolinas League pitchers will attest that it was tough to get Steve Salvato of the Anderson Senators out last week. His all-around performance at the plate made him the league's most recent Player of the Week.

The 22-year-old right fielder boasted a .647 average with no home runs, 3 RBIs and 2 runs scored. Salvato went 11-for-17 for the week.
