Coletta Belts 5 Hits
It was high-fives all around for Chris Coletta at MacArthur Stadium.
He got them from his teammates and he got them at the plate during an outstanding hitting performance against the Syracuse Chiefs. Coletta smashed 5 hits in 5 at-bats on his monster day, leading his club to a 7-5 win.
"Chris was hitting everything," said Colonels manager Lazaro Peraza. "It really was a special game for him."
In the opposing dugout, Chiefs manager <Alberto Vera:coach#233> told BNN beat writers that Coletta "ambushed" the club.
"Obviously we didn't have much success against him, but we'll have another chance," the skipper said. "Hopefully, Coletta oversleeps next time."
Chris Coletta singled in the 2nd, hit a solo-shot off Tom Buskey in the 4th, hit an RBI single in the 4th, doubled in the 6th and hit an RBI single in the 8th.
At the moment, Coletta is batting .351 with 2 home runs and 9 RBIs. He has played in 28 games and scored 9 times.
