Tommy Moore made easy work of the West Palm Beach Expos at Pompano Beach Municipal Park, tossing a no-hitter for the Pompano Beach Mets.

In a superlative outing, he registered 9 strikeouts and allowed 3 walks, leading the Mets as they defeated the Expos, 4-0.

"I really didn't have my best stuff today," he admitted after the game. "There's a lot of luck involved in throwing a no-hitter. But some days it's better to be lucky than good."

Either way, Moore earned himself a place in the history books.

On the year, Moore has compiled a 3-4 mark with a 3.79 ERA.
