CARL Player of the Week Awarded
All week long Bob Toney was the talk of the Carolina League... his name and face were everywhere. So it was no surprise to anyone when he was chosen the Carolina League's Player of the Week for his exceptional performance.

This season, Toney has posted a batting average of .306 with 96 hits in 314 at-bats, no home runs and 27 RBIs. He has also scored 43 runs, walked 50 times and compiled a .408 OBP.
June's Best CARL Hitter is Bob Toney
Raleigh-Durham third baseman Bob Toney certainly turned heads in June with some impressive numbers. He batted .400 for the month and was voted the Carolina League Batter of the Month award.
