Morgan Holds Orlando Scoreless

Robert Morgan bent a little, but he didn't break against the Orlando Twins. The DeLand Sun Caps pitcher hurled a 7-hit, 1-0 shutout in a fine performance, surrendering no walks and tallying 5 strikeouts.

"Robert is good at getting out of jams," Sun Caps manager Amari Wilson told reporters after the game. "He's almost more effective when he gets guys on base or gets behind in the count, because he uses your aggressiveness against you."

This season, Morgan has fashioned a 3-4 mark and 2.84 ERA in 63.1 innings. Opposing clubs are batting .261 against him and he has logged 43 strikeouts.
