It seemed that Daytona Beach catcher Terry McDermott could do no wrong as the Dodgers KO'd the Expos, 7-3. McDermott rapped out 5 hits in 6 at-bats and seemed to know which pitches Expos hurlers were throwing.
"I think the Dodgers were stealing signs," growled one unhappy West Palm Beach fan after the game.
"I felt good. I saw the ball well and just wanted to make good contact and put the ball in play," said the jubilant McDermott in the postgame press interview.
